MW4 Progression: Keep XP Goals Separate from Script Settings
A controller script does not directly award account XP, unlock weapons, or set your rank. Progression is governed by the game. Treat claims of guaranteed levels or automatic unlocks as a different claim from controller-input assistance.
Check the actual progression rules
Use the game's current challenge descriptions and official mode rules to understand what awards XP. Beta caps, rewards, and launch progression are not interchangeable. The official beta progression information describes that event, not an unlimited leveling method for the full game.
Keep tuning sessions separate
Changing several settings during a challenge run makes it difficult to identify a problem. Establish the controller baseline first, then test one weapon profile in a repeatable setting. Once it is stable, leave it unchanged while playing rather than assuming every missed challenge needs a stronger value.
Use the controller settings guide to record the baseline and the multiplayer guide to separate loadout roles.
Account level and competitive rank
Account progression and competitive ranking measure different things. Neither is a guaranteed outcome of buying a script. Check the rules for your playlist, including restrictions on third-party input devices, before using automation. The ranked-play guide discusses those restrictions.
