Current Patch Status
Infinity Ward has already used the Early Access Beta to adjust weapon balance, time-to-kill, spawns, audio, attachments, and bugs. That makes profile retesting a normal part of the MW4 launch window rather than a one-time chore.
Why Balance Patches Affect Scripts
Anti-recoil values are tied to weapon behavior. If minimum time-to-kill changes, damage ranges move, or attachments are adjusted, the best loadout may change even if raw recoil feels similar. A profile can remain technically functional while no longer being the right profile to use.
Retuning Priority
Retune broad-use weapons first. AR and SMG profiles usually deserve the earliest check because they appear in the most matches. Then move to LMG, marksman, sniper, and specialty profiles. The patch-day playbook gives the full order.
What to Record
Write down weapon, attachments, sensitivity, FOV, anti-recoil values, Aim Assist Boost level, and enabled movement features. Without notes, every patch becomes guesswork. With notes, you can compare old and new behavior quickly.
When to Wait
If a major patch lands minutes before you play, do not overwrite every value immediately. Run private tests, read notes, check whether Hades MW4 has updated guidance, and change one thing at a time.
