MW4 Beta Settings: What to Save Before Launch
Keep MW4 beta settings as dated test notes, not final launch presets. Record the game build, weapon, attachments, controller settings, and script version so you can repeat the same test when the launch build becomes available.
The beta is over
The published beta windows ran August 21–25 and August 28–September 1, 2026. See the official beta schedule. This page does not offer access to a currently running beta.
Preserve a useful baseline
Save the script file and your values before making further changes. Note which weapon and attachments you used, whether you tested hipfire or ADS, and the distance to the target. A clip with those details is easier to compare than a screenshot of unexplained numbers.
Use the controller settings worksheet and weapon profile record to keep the conditions together.
Retest at launch
First confirm that the controller works without assistance. Recreate the loadout where available, test one recoil profile, then test aim behavior. Add optional movement features only after the baseline is stable. Treat missing weapons, changed attachments, or altered settings as a new test rather than forcing an old value to fit.
The patch-day playbook explains how to isolate a change before replacing a working profile.
