MW4 Shotgun Profiles: Trigger and ADS Checks
For a shotgun profile, check trigger behavior and the choice between hipfire and ADS before adding recoil assistance. Pump-action, semi-auto, and automatic weapons need different input timing. This is a setup checklist rather than a claim about the best MW4 shotgun or attachments.
Start with automation disabled
Pick one weapon, keep its attachments fixed, and disable rapid fire, ADS on fire, and movement extras. Test a deliberate single shot, a second shot after the weapon is ready, and a reload. This establishes whether delays come from the weapon itself or the script.
Check ADS on fire separately
If the script offers ADS on fire, compare it with manual ADS at the same distance. Check whether firing forces an unwanted sight transition when you intend to hipfire. Leave it disabled if it interferes with your preferred input sequence.
Check repeated trigger inputs
A script cannot remove a weapon's built-in action or reload time. If repeated trigger inputs produce missed or inconsistent shots, return to manual firing. Use the rapid-fire guide to understand why input timing and actual fire rate are different.
Keep a separate close-range profile
Avoid carrying an AR's sustained recoil correction into a shotgun setup without testing it. Note the weapon type and enabled features in your profile record. For movement and switching between a primary and secondary, use the close-range setup guide.
